My daughter and I have used this on family members, i.e. my husband's rotator cuff, and the pain stopped and he regained full use of his shoulder (we do continue to repeat "the touch" as needed). My daughter's dog was diagnosed with a fungal disease in the sinuses near his brain and had undergone two drillings through his skull to inject an antifungal cream. It didn't work. The next step was even more invasive--another drilling and scraping, but first he had to recover from the pneumonia he had as a complication from the second surgery and the prognosis wasn't good. So my daughter and her husband started doing quantum touch on him twice a day. He is doing very well and continuing to improve.The book is written in a clear, concise manner with drawn illustrations to show how these simple touches are done. Instructions are given on how to get your energy started and how to practice with your own energy. Easy to understand instruction type book, but more!

I read the basic book (Quantum-Touch: The Power to Heal by Richard Gordon) and attended a basic Quantum Touch class, in addition to some training in another method. I'd also read energy medicine books, on other modalities, and was ready for the next step. So I ordered this book.As I work my way though this book, I've found it to be of great assistance. I had started exploring energy medicine as a way to assist my pets with several health issues. To date, I have had phenomenal (documented) success. However, doing treatments, on multiple pets, on a daily basis is very time consuming. This book outlines methods that provide energy medicine assistance in a longer-lasting format.I highly recommend it for any student or practitioner of energy medicine.

Read this book if you have read the others in the series, that way this will make more sense. However if you are an energy worker and want advanced techniques this book is for you.

This book is a must read if you are interested in working with energy medicine for yourself or others. It greatly expands the other books in this series. Also it is very compatable with EFT tapping's underlying premise: All negative emotions are a result of a disruption in the body's energy system & therefore the basis for most physical imbalances (dis-ease). As a Naturopathic Dr. I try to offer my clients as many healing modalities as possible. Now, I purchased mine with my kindle - it didn't load properly. After resetting my kindle (didn't help), I called for help. I talked to a man that didn't speak much English - I only understood 1 in 4 words he spoke & I don't think he understood what I was asking at all. I wanted to return the book & re-download. However he said he would "put in a refund & I should wait until something happened" Then he told me to delete it from my Kindle - I asked how to do that - he was unclear on the instructions. Currently I have no notice of a refund from amazon(not the 1st time) although I seemed to have recovered the missing content but not the cover! Love my Kindle but...

Unfortunately I have been unable to finish this book. I have been totally absorbed in his new book, Energy Healing and the Art of Awakening Through Wonder; now into my 3rd reading. I will eventually come back to this one again, which I have read about half I would say. Also an excellent book. Highly recommend this author.

I have recently finished up Stolen Souls in an effort to learn more about Manhattan in 2075, and I'm sad to say the book I'm holding doesn't earn itself a good review.The interesting material in this book - structured as a 3-in-1 guide to the CFD virus, Manhattan, and a guide to extraction jobs, earns itself a 3-star rating, barely saving itself from a 2 for several reasons:The book is about 20 pages short of what it should be because it lacks pictures of several items and features that would greatly inform and clarify the setting of Manhattan as well as provide visual reference for several drones and items in the book. Many drones and items discussed are not even described in appearance, making it frustrating to explain to players or understand as a GM. As well, the GM's section of this book is only 3 pages long, commenting about none of the theories and information discussed by the many Jackpoint characters in the CFD portions of the book - leaving me incredibly frustrated about the CFD virus and the prospects of using it in my game sessions.This is my second 5th edition purchase and I am disappointed in the book's quality - with minimally organized information about Manhattan sprawled out over many pages, never clearly and completely lay out needed information - particularly about AIs, E-ghosts, and other matrix entities that are critical to understanding the plot of Stolen Souls.This book was made with future books in mind, making me feel like I was ripped off for 3 half-books for over 30 dollars. I consider this a rather incomplete product and a grab at selling future books, which, if the quality of the famously disorganized Core Rulebook released last year and my own books' poor print errors (smudges, distortions on pages) and typographical and grammatical errors are any indication - will probably be as much a letdown as my two 5th edition books were.I don't think the writer and publishers and printers are doing themselves a service by putting products like this out. While much of the content is interesting, the incompleteness, disorganization, print quality and poor editing are only eroding trust in the brand and warding off new players like myself that want to be engaged but keep getting let down.I think we should at least get a very nice coupon if this practice continues from Catalyst Games and Topps.

While I was required to read this book, I found it rather useful and informative. It's certainly applicable in the counseling field, which, coming from me, is a huge compliment since I have no desire to become a counselor. I also feel this text is useful in regular life, at least where listening skills are concerned. This book is a quick read and not overly technical. I'd definitely recommend this book to those interested in helping professions.

This book would be great for someone just beginning coursework for counseling. However, I'm pretty far into my studies so this book was too basic for me.

Such a great book! I was recommended it by my professor of my counseling skills class and I'm glad I bought it. It is smaller than I thought, but don't let that fool you; it is full of helpful information for a new counselor. I can see this being a great reference in my future career.

This will be a permanent piece of my office because I simply don't think I will ever be rid of it. It is beautifully put together for anyone new (like myself) who's just coming into counseling, but it would also serve as a wonderful reminder for anyone who's been in the field for a length of time.

They are made from scratch, with all-natural ingredients, no shortcuts, no pre-made mixes, etc. This doesn't make it a super light or particularly "healthy" cookbook, however. When making the apple cake, for instance, I was shocked that it called for two full cups and five tablespoons of sugar (eek)! Yes, I know it's a dessert and these usually have a lot of sugar in them, but I guess I was secretly hoping I could make everything in here and not worry about my kids eating too much of something. I want to make everything in this book!!! Really, why didn't I think of Cheddar rolls in the same format as cinnamon rolls? Oh, and Scallion Shortbreads with tomato salad - hey, salad and bread in one item? I'll be serving these at a friend's shower I'm hosting. I'm now a complete cooking idiot! My poor husband will be cursing me as he's been on a diet for 30 years and I keep screwing it up for him. Oh, well. So, now I subscribe to Smitten Kitchen and my printer is out of breath as I'm printing everything! (Yes, I'm killing trees because my iPad keeps going to screen saver at the most important part of a recipe!) Thanks, Deb. Loving every bit of it.

Great cookbook. I love a lot of the recipes in this. I only wish I could tap a button and see everyone else's comments on the recipes (can I sub this? what if I leave out that? can I change the flour type or oil type or fruit?) I trust that the things I make out of this cook book will be good and they always are. The recipes are also very accessible for new cooks, which I love.

After taking this out of the library, I made enough recipes to want the book. Nice mix of recipes but it seemed something was off in each recipe I tried. I took notes so I could make adjustments the next time I cooked the dish. For example, the crust on the mushroom tart was very heavy, but the filling was quite good. Asian dressing was good. There are some wonderful gooey cookies, They are not as described but still irresistible. The corn risotto stuffed papers needed seasoning and the cooking time and amount of broth was off.Lots of good pictures so you can see what you are cooking. The recipe lay out is annoying. Perelman included "stories" for each recipe so much flipping back and forth of pages while following the receipe.All in all it is worth getting, but understand that you will be tweaking recipes.

Not exactly the same book i had bought in the late 70's. I cannot say i hate it, but i was disappointed; i would not recommended this particular edition.

Yes, there are 296 pages including the blank ones. though the book brings valuable information about hand reading, the price is too high for a xeroxed copy. But if you don't mind that and you are seriously involved in learning hand reading it is OK.I am happy anyway, the information here will let you know accurately the past, present and future, health state and much more.Good Luck

Obviously the book is good a must have for all who are interested in palmistry.But the images of the hands are not clear.Also, the printing quality is that of a xeroxed book.Hope in subsequent editions these will be better.Nevertheless, its a good buy.
